Aide-memoire
Hi friends! What a busy couple months it has been! Praise God for a spirit filled SFL Identified in Fresno, YFL Regional Pre-Conference in Rosemead, and YFL/SFL National Conference in Dallas, TX!
I was reflecting on the plane ride home from Dallas, and was pleasantly surprised with how peaceful I felt about coming back to California (usually the withdrawals kick in with my first step into the airport and I keep myself from what I call “ugly crying”). In the past, I only looked forward to the bigger spiritual events because I’d feel excited about what God might reveal about Himself and His plans for me and in what extraordinary ways. However, I have truly now come to appreciate and embrace the simple moments in between because His presence is just as great, if not moreso, in the quiet and stillness.
I look forward to the opportunities at work. I look forward to pruning my body at fitness bootcamp. I look forward to gaining knowledge and wisdom from scripture, books, and technology. I look forward to attending mass at various local churches. I look forward to spending time with my family. I look forward to participating in nourishing events from each diocese. I look forward to hearing the news. I look forward to dinner dates with my best friends. I look forward to learning from mistakes. I look forward to life!
Thanks Lord for molding me, pruning me, and purifying me 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I know it’s a full-time job! I give you back all the glory, though it’ll never be enough!
